Dance Around the World With Me Contest

In celebration of the revival of DMBFanSite, we have teamed up with acclaimed artist Pablo Schurig to offer you a chance to win a 24 x 18 Handsigned Limited-Edition Print of his piece ‘Dance Around the World With Me.’ The winner will be shipped the print, free of charge, by Mr. Schurig himself.
Jan Pablo Schurig has been involved in the arts since early youth. Always intrigued by the human body, Schurig spent most of his time sketching and studying figures and the human anatomy. His curiosity of anatomy led him to pursue a degree in medical illustration. However, after graduating from Virginia Tech he found his true passion in the style of impressionism rather than the technical and precise style of medical illustration.
In 1997 Schurig was given the unique opportunity to study with world renown artist Don Hatfield; a master impressionist from Napa, California. During his two and a half year apprenticeship, Schurig developed his unique style of using vibrant color and dramatic lighting to create images of beauty. Through his use of color and light, Schurig’s art captures the emotion and essence of his subjects to create a bond between his art and the viewer. His soft edges create a soothing mood that draws you into the intimate moments he shares. Private collectors across the country experience the tranquility mixed with the dramatic light and color that Schurig’s art has to offer. Today, Schurig resides in the Napa Valley recreating his visions of beauty to share with others.
