Tap Tap Revenge to feature DMB

According to The New York Times, the Dave Matthews Band is set to have its own version of the popular iPhone/iPod Touch game, Tap Tap Revenge. Currently, Weezer and Nine Inch Nails have their own versions, with new versions coming out every Thursday. Whether this will be a promoter of the new album due to be released in April is unknown.

DMBFanSite.org Podcasts Coming Soon / Wallpaper Update

DMB Fan Site is finally stepping it up a notch, and in the coming month we will be introducing audio and video podcasts. Every new episode will be posted on the main site, and can be listened to directly from the site, or from your favourite podcast player, such as iTunes. The first episode will arrive in January; we’re just finalizing everything first. Also, marking a new milestone for the site, we have surpassed 400 wallpapers, 10% of which (40) are available in widescreen (1200×900 and larger) format! Hope you all enjoy the latest additions :) As always, the wallpapers can be accessed through Media->Wallpaper.

DMB Spring Tour Dates; New Album Release Date

Dave Matthews Band 2009The Dave Matthews Band released information on their tour dates for Spring 2009, as well as the release date – yes, the release date! – for the new album. The two are meant to fit hand in hand, with the tour “featuring new songs from the album.” Whether new means completely new, or new as in unreleased to this date (such as Shotgun, Kill the King, etc.) is unknown. However, here are the tour dates; tickets can be requested by Warehouse members immediately (with the max number of tickets allowed to be requested increased to 4). All shows will be available to the general public by the 17th of January, with Nashville going on sale a day earlier. The album will be released on the first day of the tour; April 14th. It is currently untitled.

  • DMB Spring Tour Coming; Dates to be Released Monday

    In an e-mail sent by the Warehouse on Thursday, the band wanted to make clear that it is going on tour, and is still alive. The tour dates and locations are set to be released this Monday. The e-mail also stated that the band would be playing “new” songs from the upcoming spring-time album; what they mean by “new” is up for grabs.

    Dave Matthews Stars in “Lake City” – Final Opening This Weekend

    Starring Sissy Spacek, Rebecca Romjin, Dave Matthews & Troy Garity, Lake City tells the story of a young man in trouble with dealers running back to the most unlikely of places; where he grew up. The film has already opened and screened in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin, and its final opening will be in Seattle on December 12.
